"Water flows from the earth. The soul is born from water", said Heraclitus. This is exactly what happens at the Baths of Tivoli. The thermal water is exploited in all its potential to combine physical and mental well-being. In addition to traditional spa treatments, other innovative treatments are offered thanks to a completely renovated structure and the use of cutting-edge technologies.

Virgilio talked about them in the Aeneid, Nero merged them up to the Domus Aurea using the Marcio aqueduct, while the emperor Adriano used them to feed the numerous pools of his sumptuous villa (Villa Adriana). But over the centuries the Baths of Tivoli fell into disrepair. Only in the Renaissance were they rediscovered and refurbished.
In more modern times, at the beginning of the 2000s, a development project begun that has made the spa into one of the most modern in Europe: from a glorious past to a radiant present.
The relaunch of the baths took place in three precise phases. First of all the recovery and the architectural restoration of the historic swimming pools. Then the second phase led to a complete and decisive renewal of the spa sector: technologies, treatments and services offered. Finally, in the third phase, the Victoria Terme Hotel was built, located inside the spa park.

The Aqua Albule of the Tivoli Spa are sulfurous, hypothermal, perfect for use as a natural antibacterial with a significant anti-inflammatory effect. So called because of the whitish colour due to the gaseous emulsion created by the process between carbon dioxide and hydrogen sulphide, they reach the spa at a constant temperature of 23° C.
Their special composition offers numerous benefits, exploited in various cures for various ailments: osteoarthritis and other degenerative forms, respiratory problems (bronchitis, allergic rhinitis, sinusitis), vascular disorders, certain skin disorders (psoriasis, eczema, atopic dermatitis and seborrheic dermatitis), digestive disorders and gynaecological disorders.
Not to mention a SPA always at your disposal, a beauty centre for massages and treatments, outdoor swimming pools for fun for adults and children, and a specialised medical service, for professional consultations.

Tivoli's thermal baths offer all this: a cure for body and soul, by dipping into the glorious past of the Roman civilisation.
